" Be Inspired #51 Thank you Notes! "

It is week number five in their month-long celebration. The first week, we had to create an invitation to our "themed" party, then we had to create a gift bag & card and then a matching mini album, then our centerpiece for our table. Last but not least is the thank you notes.
We were to choose a theme and follow it all the way through this month to end up with a fantastic party theme completely ready to go! We also have to use a Cuttlebug embossing folder of our choice. My party theme is fishing.

Here it is allll together! For you guys that are not following Cuttlebug Challenges, you should head over there now to see what all the excitement is about! You cannot possibly know the excitement I am feeling right now knowing that I am finished and may be chosen to be featured in a magazine! GO there NOW! HURRY!

For this Challenge I used: Stamp Sets: Close to My Heart "Gone Fishing", "Hook, Line, and Sinker", and "World's Best Dad"; Cardstock: Stampin' Up! "Ivory", "Kiwi Kiss", "Soft Suede" Club Scrap, Martha Stewart; Ink: Stampin' Up! "Soft Suede", "Riding Hood Red", "Pacific Point"; Sizzix Pocket Die Cut, Cuttlebug Folders: "Tiny Mosiac", "With Love A2 Embossing Border Folders", "Swiss Dots"; Prisacolor Markers: "Dark Brown", "True Blue"; Hemp, Google Eyes, Stampin' Up! Wire Works & Crystal Effects.

Here is my invitation...tada...

Upclose of the Cuttlebug folder that I used. It was just enough to give my water waves.

There are so many possibilities for this theme. But when I was young, my mom had a fishing party for us. We invited all our friends and she filled a pool in the yard full of water. We all made poles out of sticks and she added a big hook made from cloths hangers. We fished. She had some prizes in the pool and we caught them. What fun! Everything that day was a fishing adventure. It was a fun memory!

CUTTLEBUG CHALLENGE BE INSPIRED # 49

The Cuttlebug Challenge Birthday Palooza Continues!!! It is week number three in their month-long celebration. The first week, we had to create an invitation to our "themed" party, then we had to create a gift bag & card and this week we had to create a matching mini album We were to choose a theme and follow it all the way through this month to end up with a fantastic party theme completely ready to go! We also have to use a Cuttlebug embossing folder of our choice. I chose the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug Folder for this album because it made that hankerchief hanging out of the pocket look so real! So...here's my mini album for this latest Cuttlebug Challenge. My party theme is fishing. There are so many possibilities for this theme. Wait until you see.

Cuttlebug Challenges Cards and Giftbags - Be Inspired #48

The Cuttlebug Challenges Birthday Palooza goes on! It is week number two in their month-long celebration. The first week, we had to create an invitation to our "themed" party, this week we were to create a gift bag & card. I combined both mine into one. The layer on top of the bag comes off to reveal the greeting for the card. I used a border folder from Cuttlebugs With Love A2 Embossing Border Folders to give a soft water ripple. So many people are awed idea of card & bag all in one that it is about the only way I give a gift.

I used a border folder from Cuttlebugs With Love A2 Embossing Border Folders to give a soft water ripple.

Cuttlebug Challenges: Provo Craft Countdown Be Inspired #41

For this challenge we had to alter something and add something that we recycled to our project. I came up with a brand new twist. This is
a recipe book designed by my good friend, Diane Tuggle, that I decided needed a few finshing touches. (Make it more personal...yooooou know.) I was about to add a row
of buttons that I have pulled off old cloths, but then...something hit me.
If I use my cuttlebug folder, I can make fake buttons. Now how is
that for recycling!

Never had to use buttons to begin with. Saved glue dots too!
And...I think...it looks just as cute! FLOORED MYSELF! {lOl}

Vintage Dress Card

A friend of mine drew this dress pattern. We sat together at an all night crop and played like we were designing dresses. We had a blast. This is actually on sale at My Etsy. I just love this idea for a tea party or a ladies gathering like a luncheon. Just too cute!

Cuttlebug Challenge Be Inspired #39 Owl Folder

I saw a card in "Fabulous Folds for Card Making" Edited by Tanya Fox that I just looooved. I cannot remember the author's name so if anyone has that book and could let me know, I will credit it. AnyWOO this is my version. We had to use these colors for our challenge so it looks completely different.

Cuttlebug Challenges Be Inspired#38 Star Folder!

Our Challenge for this was Red, White and Blue; buttons and the bonus folder was the Swiss dots. Inspired by Dannisdoodles I created this card. She ALWAYS...I mean ALWAYS has great stuff. You should check her out here.

I may be a little late on entering this card because my daughter had major surgery at the beginning of the month and it totally absorbed me. Thanks to all who prayed for the Lord to give her a speedy recovery because she is a walking miracle.
